Spiker Rit?
I really dont like using spirits, and was thinking about creating a Channeling build (I am Rt/E) for farming. My current ritualist is lvl 5, and I would like some sort of wide-spread dmg build to base my own build on. Since this is my first Rt, I would really appreciate some build help. Ty!

I find this reasonbaly nice for spiking:
[skill]Grasping was Kuurong[/skill][skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Essence Strike[/skill][skill]Spirit Burn[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill][skill]Earthbind[/skill][skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill]
I know at lvl 5 you'll probably not have Kuurong, unless you got yourself an elite tome, but you could substitute with [wiki]Cruel was Daoshen[/wiki]...you'll just miss out on the knockdown.
The basic plan is Lay down Earthbind (if you have time), cast Kuurong, run in and cast Spirit Rift, drop Kuurong, Cast Ancestors' Rage, Recast Kuurong and drop if needed. Bloodsong / Essence Strike / Spirit Burn are just in there for something to do while Kuurong is recharging. I find that build to be REALLY fun and can take out a group of foes pretty darn quick.
If you find your survivability compromised by running on in you could try taking Weapon of Warding instead of Earthbind. I don't really have a problem in that respect. Just a thought anyway.

Yeah, I was going to post a build very similar to the above one:
Mighty Was Vorizon
Bloodsong
Essence Strike
Spirit Burn
Spirit Rift
*Destructive was Glaive* (NF elite)
Flesh of my flesh
And something optional. Early in the game, Pain is a good spirit to bring, as is Union, or Shelter, or Recuperation, to keep things humming. Something from your /E line might be nice: glyph of lesser energy to keep your pool of energy up, or another big spike like Meteor or Immolate or Lightning Strike.
Be careful: lots of rit spells have requirements--are you holding ashes? under a weapon spell? near a spirit? Make sure you have ways to meet the requirement.

105:
Prot spirit
Shielding Hands
VwK
Vengeful Weapon
Spirit Rift
Ancestor's Rage
Balth's Spirit
E.Bond
12+1+3 rest, 10 Prot Prayers, 8+3 channeling
5 superior runes, totem axe, rest offhand.
Plays like a 55, but keep EITHER SH or VwK up at all times, and just spam the channling nukes.
Btw, farming is not spiking. and farming goes here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/f...play.php?f=234

If you're Rit/E then yo can go for Grasping, followed by Aftershock, Ancestors etc etc, I haven't tried it yet (my Rit is stuck on Kurz side ) but i guess it'd be pretty awesome, if anyone can try it for me and give me some feedback it'd be much appreciated =D

I go spiking with my Rit alot, and of course the build depends on the rest of the party, but it goes a little something like this:
[skill]Destructive was Glaive[/skill][skill]Cruel was Daoshen[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Gaze From Beyond[/skill][skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill][skill]Empowerment[/skill][skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]
PVE
Get ready by using [skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill] on all.
Cast [skill]Empowerment[/skill]* [skill]Cruel was Daoshen[/skill] and hold it, Fire a [skill]Spirit Rift[/skill], run in, you have 3 sec - cast [skill]Destructive was Glaive[/skill], thereby dropping the[skill]Cruel was Daoshen[/skill]. Drop [skill]Destructive was Glaive[/skill] and cast a [skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill] on yourself.. Finish them off with a [skill]Gaze From Beyond[/skill].
This will do LOADS of dmg on each foe in the area, but youll need a break/[skill]Blood Ritual[/skill] or [skill]Blood is Power[/skill]later :P
*Empowerment is bugged ATM, so it doesn matter if it dies, the effect will still be on you
